As an elementary educator, Katherine noticed students slipping through the cracks in the area of reading. This led her to pursue Orton Gillingham (OG) training. Her classroom began to change and students began to find success. As her family grew, she was able to transition to tutoring students one on one to build their reading skills.
Katherine has logged thousands of hours working with students, many of whom have dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other diagnosed reading disabilities. She has trained educators and districts in the Sonday System as well as supervised and presented for graduate level OG courses.
